It’s time for backpacks

Seems we are all carrying more around with us as we move throughout our day. Whether it’s work files, books for school, a laptop, or all of the above AND don’t forget that sweater and water bottle. Here are some great backpacks made to fit today’s lifestyle.

SONY DSCThe two backpacks above are handmade by Skinny Vinny in his Brooklyn, NY studio. Tons of pockets inside and out. Great for guys or gals.

This unisex backpack is handmade by Fabric Horse in the Philadelphia, PA studio. Pocket in front, open interior for carrying everything and strap on the side for your u-lock (just in case you ride your bike to and fro).

Matt and Nat and Fabric Horse backpacks are shown here. Matt and Nat has an urban appeal with pockets on the exterior and interior. This Fabric Horse backpack is extra padded for carrying laptops, lots of outside pockets and the carrier for u-locks.

Here’s the beautiful Orla Kiely backpack. We adore this pack – with leather handles to grab and go. With all these backpacks to choose from – there are no more excuses for aching shoulders!

Extra thanks goes to the lovely Rachel and Alex – two local shop gals from nearby businesses. We love our neighborhood!

Love the backpacks, but can we also discuss the models?! They grow ‘em so beautiful in Sellwood ;-).
