Decemberville Sale at Tilde!
It’s the annual winter holiday sale extravaganza for the neighborhood in which we dwell. And which we love so much.

Trish Grantham Art Reception Tonight!
Trish Grantham worked wonders on our wall yesterday and single handedly displayed all of her artwork for tonight’s show. Obviously she’s got the merchandising eye. Seriously, is this one cool wall of art or what?! Trish’s combo of layering vintage book pages with acrylic paint equals the best visual art show you’ll see this month. Drop by Tilde tonight from 6-9pm to meet Trish, have a glass of wine, a few nibbles and catch the first peek of the art show.

The tiny robot army of Gary Hirsch
Ok, we are totally in love with . . . robots! Miles and miles, tons and tons of tiny little robots. (We know you love them, too.) As we walked past our favorite board game store last week (that would be Cloudcap Games) we saw in the window the hand painted domino ROBOT tiles of local artist Gary Hirsch. (Seriously local – he lives right in our hood).
The colors, shapes, and expressions on these cute robot tiles (hand painted on dominoes) are too much to resist. If you are like us, a bit of whimsy in the form of a tiny robot is the perfect addition to your home, desk or perhaps as a tiny passenger riding next to you in your car.

Sellwood Matching Game WINNER!
Congrats to Josh who was the big winner of the Sellwood Matching Game posted last week. He won a gift certificate to Tilde. We were so impressed with everyone who submitted answers to our pictorial quiz, cause everyone got the majority of the pictures correct. You are smart and clearly love the neighborhood of Sellwood as much as we do.
For those who care, here are the answers to our little quiz. Follow along in left to right for each box of pics.
- Box 1: Sherrett Square, the cat who stalks our shop, Joel from the Sellwood UPS store, Oaks Park.

Sellwood Matching Game!
Interested in winning a Gift Certificate for $25 to Tilde? We’ve put together some mindless fun. Here’s the deal. The pictures below are a mix of well known entities, and those a bit obscure, all located within the neighborhood in which we dwell: Sellwood. Email us the name (or definition) of as many of the pictures that you recognize. The people that submit over five correct answers will be entered in a drawing to win the aforementioned $25 Tilde gift certificate!
Use our Contact Form to submit your answers. The pictures are in no specific order, just take your best stab at naming those pictures you recognize. Entries must be received Friday, January 7th. The winner will be contacted the week of January 10th.
