Jill Bliss art reception Friday night!
We feel we are within a bird sanctuary! Jill Bliss has brought in all her artwork for her October show opening tomorrow night. Her bird collages are super spectacular and truly a mixed media delight. The show is a combination of painting and the re-use of paper from other work she has created blended together atop a colorful piece of wood that is edged with graphic washi tape to wrap it all up! Her handmade fabric leaf and feather garlands surround the bird art and really make our shop feel like a private hideaway.
Hope you can join us tomorrow night, October 7th, from 6-9pm to meet Jill and check out her newest original artwork. The show will be on our walls until October 31st and is available online too!

Current Tilde window display: giant cameo necklaces
Our newest window displays are up and are they ever awesome! We wanted to play with stamping a silhouette on fabric, since we are in the Valentine’s Day frame of mind, and for some such reason we also were thinking of vintage cameos. (What else, right?!)
Then, cause we are who we are, we also thought the finished product should be super gigantic in scale. Voilà! A whole bunch of giant fabric cameo necklaces. We *heart* them. We hope you do, too.

Happy Holidays from Tilde
As we wrap up our year, we want to send out a sincere thank you and warm holiday wishes to all our customers and friends. We hope your new year is filled with all things positive.
Tilde will be open until 3pm on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. We’ll be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. We will also be closed on Sunday, January 2nd for inventory and general cleaning.
We’ll reopen – all bright and shiny – on Monday, January 3rd ready for your visits and business!

Sellwood Westmoreland Decemberville!
The holidays are right around the corner, and on December 4th and December 5th the Sellwood Westmoreland neighborhoods (where Tilde dwells) will host their 4th annual Decemberville event to kick the season into high gear.
